Latino Caucus Annual Meeting Events and Panels
The Latino Caucus was established in 1998 to represent the interests of Latino/a scholars in the discipline of political science. For the 2010 Annual Meeting, we will organize one or more panels focused on professional opportunities for Latina/o scholars; emerging research directions in the study of Latino politics; and, because the Annual Meeting will be in Washington, DC, Latino community politics in the nation's capital. Our 2010 program will also include the 2nd Annual APSA Latino Politics Workshop/Short Course, the Latino Political Science Awards reception (co-sponsored with the APSA Committee on the Status of Latinos y Latinas, and our Annual Business Meeting and Elections.
